Water Damage Restoration
Speed is of the essence when water damage strikes. That’s because significant additional property damage, such as mold growth and major damage to wood floors, cabinets, sheetrock, insulation and other structural materials and contents, can occur when buildings are not dried quickly.
ICC utilizes Directed Heat Drying® technology to dry wet buildings two to three times faster! This allows us to restore damage with as little reconstruction as possible so property is returned to normal faster and at the lowest possible cost.
However, when reconstruction or replacement is required, ICC offers the widest variety of services in the area so we can take your project from start to finish.
With ICC, you are assured:
- The latest in high tech inspection tools to determine the extent of the damage.
- Water extraction using state-of-the-art drying procedures, including Directed Heat Drying® technology.
- Expertise for specialty drying of hardwood floors, plaster walls, tile and concrete, cabinets, etc.
- Careful attention to minimizing and eliminating potential health hazards that can be caused by water damage.
- An IICRC certified technician on every loss, with all work done to the proper Standard of Care.
- Removal, drying and storage of your contents at our secure climate-controlled storage facility, as required.
- Expert contents restoration, to clean and restore your home or business contents whenever possible.
There are three different types of water damage, requiring specific steps to properly address:
- Clean Water (Category 1) is water from frozen and broken pipes, ice maker hoses, failed water heaters, roof leaks and other uncontaminated sources.
- Grey Water (Category 2) is water that has been used in a cleaning process and may contain contamination or soiling such as food, laundry soils, body soils and body oils. Grey water damage generally comes from things like appliances and spas.
- Black Water (Category 3) (Sewage and Flood Waters) is the most serious type of water damage. This water typically comes from toilet, sewer and septic system back-ups or overflows. Black water is teeming with thousands of disease causing viruses, bacteria and protozoa and can cause very serious illnesses if not treated properly.
